The Region of Durham has contracted IQ Environmental to clean the watermains in Port Perry as part of our regular water supply system maintenance program.
The cleaning program will be performed between May 6 and 31, 2024.
Durham Regional Council and the Finance and Administration Committee intend to consider the 2024 Property Tax Supported Business Plans and Budget for Regional operations, the Police Services Board, outside agencies, Durham Region Transit, solid waste management and related fees and charges, including the 2024 Regional property tax rates:

On March 27, Durham Regional Council will hold a public meeting, pursuant to Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, to present the proposed Area Specific Development Charges By-law, as well as the related underlying background study. It is also an opportunity for the public to provide input on the proposed by-law and study regarding water supply and sanitary sewerage services in the Seaton Community in the City of Pickering.
