The Greater Madawaska Fire Department was honoured with a visit from the Lord Prior of the Order of St. John, Mark Compton, on June 23, 2023.
OPG Calabogie Generating Station Tour June 2023 (1)June 20, 2023, The Township of Greater Madawaska’s Council and leadership team had a great day touring Ontario Power Generation’s newly redeveloped Calabogie Generating Station. Construction on the new build began in 2020 and is situated about 50 metres upstream from the old powerhouse.
