RBC Online Banking
Below is a step-by-step process on how to pay your bills online using RBC online banking. It is a similar process for other Financial Institution (CIBC, FNBC, BMO, TD Canada Trust, Tangerine):
Step 1: Open your web page and log into your online banking
Step 2: Find “Manage Payees” or “Add Payee” option on the screen. Click “Add Payee”
Step 3: Type “Iqaluit” and select the possible payee match, and click continue
Step 4: Enter account information from your paper invoice
- For PROPERTY TAXES use account number in upper right of the page. It is a combination of last name and a number. Example BYRZE0001
- For UTILITIES use the account number listed at the bottom of the page, without the decimal. This will be a 9-digit account number. Example 001686001
- For LAND LEASE use the customer ID listed on the bottom left-hand side of the page. This will always start with LL- at the beginning of the customer ID. Example LL-BYZ001
- For other RECEIVABLE invoices (e.g. Ambulance, alarm, landfill), use the customer ID listed on the bottom left hand side of the page. Example BYRZ0001

Email Billing Notification
The City of Iqaluit would like to remind residents that we are continuing to process email billing notifications for residential and commercial accounts. Account holders receive an emailed copy of their billing accounts monthly.
Please note that we are currently in the process of fixing the translation format for the email billing notifications. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have this resolved as soon as possible.
We encourage holders of residential and commercial accounts who wish to receive their billing via email to email to accounts receivable, to receive the billing information form, or click the link at the bottom of this page to fill the form out online.
