Municipal Governance

Transparency, accountability, and community engagement are at the heart of everything we do. Our city operates under a democratic framework, with elected officials comprising the City Council, led by the Mayor. Together, they make decisions that shape our community's future, focusing on services, infrastructure, and policies to enhance the quality of life for all residents. Council holds Committee meetings, where new business is introduced and finessed, prior to being introduced at the Council Meetings, where the decisions are made. Once decisions are made, City Administration is responsible for carrying them out.

We believe in fostering open dialogue and collaboration, encouraging residents to participate in public meetings, provide feedback, and stay informed about municipal affairs. Through effective governance practices, we strive to build a city that thrives on inclusivity, sustainability, and prosperity for generations to come.
