Waterloo Region – Here is a list of Region of Waterloo service changes and special events for the Easter long weekend, Friday, April 18, 2013 and Monday April 21, 2013.
All Regional Administrative Offices (99 Regina – Waterloo, 150 Frederick – Kitchener, 150 Main – Cambridge, Airport Administrative.) – Closed Friday, April 18, 2013 and Monday April 21
Grand River Transit
GRT bus routes will be operating on a Sunday service schedule on Friday, April 18 (Good Friday).
and on Sunday, April 21 (Easter Sunday).
Buses will be running on regular weekday service on Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday), except for high school specials which are cancelled.
GRT Terminal hours of operation will not be affected.
GRT customer service – Hours of operation 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. will not be affected.
Region of Waterloo International Airport – will not be affected.
Waste/recycling/green bin pick up will not be affected.
Cambridge, Waterloo waste and all rural waste transfer stations will be closed Friday, April 18 and Monday April 21.
Regional Daycare centers and Home Child Care – Closed Friday, April 18, 2013 and Monday April 21
Sunnyside Seniors Services
Sunnyside Home Reception – Closed Friday, April 18, Open Monday April 21

Waterloo Region Museum – Open Daily - Regular Museums hours.
The museum is open on Friday, April 18, Saturday, April 19 and Monday, April 21 from 9:30 a.m. to
5 p.m.; and on Sunday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

McDougall Cottage -
Friday – Activities from 1 to 4 p.m.– Cottage staff will be baking hot cross buns.
Saturday & Sunday – Activities from 1 to 4 pm – Try your hand at egg dyeing and learn how it was done in the good ol’ days. Have some fun in the backyard rolling eggs in the Scottish tradition.
