Waterloo Region – Here is a list of Region of Waterloo service changes and special events for the Easter long weekend, Friday, March 29, 2013 and Monday April 1, 2013.
All Regional Administrative Offices (99 Regina – Waterloo, 150 Frederick – Kitchener, 150 Main – Cambridge, Airport Administrative.) – Closed Friday, March 29 & Monday, April 1
Grand River Transit
GRT bus routes will be operating on a Sunday service schedule on Friday, March 29 (Good Friday).
and on Sunday, March 31 (Easter Sunday).
Buses will be running on regular weekday service on Monday, April 1 (Easter Monday), except for high school specials which are cancelled.
GRT Terminal hours of operation will not be affected.
GRT customer service – Hours of operation 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. will not be affected.
Region of Waterloo International Airport – will not be affected.
Waste/recycling/green bin pick up will not be affected.
Cambridge, Waterloo waste and all rural waste transfer stations will be closed Friday, March 29 and Monday April 1.
Regional Daycare centers and Home Child Care – Closed Friday, March 29 & Monday April 1.

Waterloo Region Museum – Open Daily - regular Museums hours.
The museum is open on Friday, March 29, Saturday, March 30 and Monday, April 1 from 9:30 a.m. to
5 p.m.; and on Sunday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition to the popular exhibit CIRCUS! Science under the Big Top, the amazing Fizzical Fizzacks will perform on Sunday, March 31 and Monday, April 1. You will be delighted as this dynamic duo performs circus skills like juggling, stilt walking and unicycling, plus dozens of tricks with toys such as yoyos, hula hoops and even a pogo stick. These special performances are scheduled for 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. each day.
