Waterloo Region Police Services Board Vacancy

Waterloo Region – Waterloo Regional Council will move to fill a vacancy on the Police services Board.  

The Police Services Act allows Regional Council to appoint one lay appointee to the Board.  Jim Wideman, formerly a Regional Councillor, was appointed to serve during the 2014-2018 term but has resigned his position following a change in his residency.  Applications will be received by the Regional Clerk until January 27, 2017 after which Regional Council will appoint a replacement for the balance of the term.
