Water main cleaning program to begin in Hespeler in April

Water main cleaning in the Hespeler area will begin April 2 through to mid-May as part of the City's regular Water Main Cleaning Program.

The City of Cambridge cleans water mains on a regular basis in order to remove accumulated material and maintain drinking water quality. The program aims to optimize water quality and reduce instances of discoloured water.

During the water main cleaning period, area residents may temporarily experience reduction in water pressure, some discoloured water and short-term water loss. If you live in the Hespeler area, look for a notice to be placed on your door a few days before work begins on your street.
