Upcoming Film Project - September 21, 2018
Cambridge's favourite detective will once again be visiting us to film scenes for the upcoming 12th season of Murdoch Mysteries!
This project will be taking place on both public and private property classes in the vicinity of Blair and Blenheim Roads on September 21, 2018.
Anticipated Impacts:
- Intermittent stoppages may occur in the vicinity of Blair and Blenheim Roads and will be controlled by paid duty officers from Waterloo Region Police Services. These stoppages will occur between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm, or after 6:00pm to avoid peak rush hour traffic;
- Parking has been granted at Dickson Arena and in the municipal lot at the corner of Parkhill Road and George Street North;
- On-street parking has been granted on Blair Road between James Street and Parkhill Road for technical vehicles. A paid duty officer must be stationed at the corner of Blair and Parkhill Roads to ensure public safety and appropriate flow of traffic through this area;
- On-street parking has been granted on Lansdowne Road North for shuttle vehicles. Production company staff will be in attendance with vehicles at all times;
- On-street parking has been granted on Brant Place for horse trailers/carriages;
- On-street parking has been granted on Blair Road/Melville Street near Trinity Anglican Church;
- One lane for emergency access must be maintained at all times, as public safety is a priority.
- Please note - the above locations are considered closed sets to be avoided if possible.
