Upcoming Film Project - Monday, November 12 and Sunday, November 25, 2018
The bustle of film projects in Cambridge continues on Monday, November 12, 2018!
"Departure" is a mini-series being produced by our friends at Shaftesbury Films Inc (makers of Murdoch Mysteries and Frankie Drake Mysteries). Cast and crew will be filming in and around City Hall, where the building will be standing in for Scotland Yard and Cambridge University.
Public access to our building will be maintained at all times, however, certain areas may experience a bit of congestion as a result of this project. Cast and crew will be returning to Cambridge again on Sunday, November 25 to film scenes on private property, on the Grand River and at the lower riverwalk near Mill Race Park.
Anticipated Impacts:
- Two days of filming (November 12 and 25)
- Filming in Civic Square, 4th Floor Training Room and Secord Room (November 12)
- Filming of main stairs at City Hall, after hours (November 12)
- Intermittent stoppages on Wellington Street between Kerr and Dickson (November 12)
- Parking - Market Lot and Galt Arena north lot (November 12)
