In the Dark (Ward 2) - Monday, December 9, 2019

The City of Cambridge is pleased to be welcoming the cast and crew from "In The Dark" to film scenes for an upcoming project.  This series is a dramatic comedy that follows a young, blind woman as she attempts to solve the murder of her best friend.

The production company will be filming both interior and exterior scenes on public and private properties as follows:

• Queen Street East (between Adam and Tannery Streets)

Anticipated Impacts

• Filming along Queen Street East, including work in several local businesses;
• Intermittent stoppages are permitted on Queen Street East between Adam and Tannery Streets.

Special Advisories

• Set dressing will begin following the Hespeler Santa Claus parade on Saturday, December 7, 2019 and will include the temporary installation of items such as:  American flags, benches, US mailboxes, signage and flower pots;
• This shoot is daylight dependent, and no special effects or evening filming is being proposed.

Parking

• Basecamp facilities will be provided for in private parking lots and in a portion of the auxilliary lot at Hespeler Arena;
• On-street parking will be reserved by the production company on Queen Street East from Adam to Chapel Streets.

Hespeler was chosen for this project due to its beauty and charm, and we are grateful for the spirit of cooperation and collaboration that permeates through the village.
