Tri-city waste services guide to be delivered to residents
Waterloo Region – Residents of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo will receive a new guide to the Region of Waterloo’s Waste Management programs. The Tri-City Guide to Residential Waste Services 2012/2013 will be delivered to single family households in the three cities during the first two weeks of April.
The Tri-City Guide contains:
- The bi-weekly yard waste collection schedule for 2012 and 2013.
- Details on what goes in (and stays out of) the blue box and green bin.
- Preparation tips and information for all curbside collection programs.
- A list of additional recycling and diversion programs offered at the landfill sites.
Residents are encouraged to keep the guide as a handy reference to Waste Management programs and services for the next two years. Township residents received a township collection calendar in February of this year with similar information.
Information about all waste management programs and services (including multi-residential programs) is also available on the website at www.regionofwaterloo.ca/waste or by calling customer service at 519-883-5100 (TTY: 519-575-4608).
