Tentative agreement reached, strike deadline delayed to Wednesday, buses will be running on Monday
Waterloo Region – After continued negotiations,the Region of Waterloo has reached a tentative agreement with Unifor 4304, representing Grand River Transit/MobilityPLUS operators, dispatchers, fleet mechanics and service attendants.
There will be no disruptions to transit service on Monday, April 3.
The Union will hold a ratification vote on Monday, April 3. In the event that the Union does not ratify the agreement a new strike deadline has been set for Wednesday, April 5 at 5:00 a.m.
The Region appreciates the patience of all of our customers during this period of labour negotiations.
