Suspicious Person Investigation – Thorold

Detectives from the 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Criminal Investigations Branch of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are investigating three separate incidents involving a suspicious male in the Thorold area.

The incidents occurred on August 4, 5, and 7, 2025, in the following locations:

  • Richmond Avenue and Romy Crescent
  • Schmon Parkway and Merrittville Highway
  • Confederation Avenue and Keefer Road

In each instance, the male approached adult female victims and grabbed them before fleeing the area on a stand up, motorized scooter.

The suspect is described as:

  • Black
  • 20 to 30 years of age
  • Tall with a slim build
