Suspects to identify in Centretown mail theft incidents

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, July 17, 2020   9:45am 

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men suspected of numerous parcel and mail thefts from residential buildings in the Centretown area from March 31, 2020 to July 7, 2020. 

The first suspect is described as a Black man, 35-40 years, approximately 5’9”-5’10” (175-178 cm), stocky build, short black hair, often wears a ball cap, eyeglasses, and a face mask. (See photos) 

The second suspect is described as a Black man, 40-50 years, approximately 5’9” (175cm), medium build, balding black hair, wears a face mask (see photos). 

Anyone with information relating to the identification of these men, is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 4533.
