Suspect to identify in suspicious incident in Centretown

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Criminal Investigations Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect from a suspicious incident in Centretown last month.

At approximately 4:40 pm on October 23, a woman entered a community centre in the 300 block of Jack Purcell Lane and began threatening the front desk clerk with a knife. The suspect then fled the centre on foot.

The clerk did not sustain any injuries.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman, approximately 35 years old, with blonde/brown shoulder length hair, black long-sleeved shirt, light brown rain boots, and carrying a light brown purse.
