Sunnyside Foundation to host annual Walk & Roll fundraiser

Kitchener – The Sunnyside Foundation will host its largest annual Fundraiser Walk and Roll on Saturday, June 10, 2017 on the Sunnyside Campus. The event includes:

 

  • A 3.5 km walk and 1.5 km wheelchair roll
  • Musical entertainment by the Golden Keys Duo
  • Petting zoo, face painting, and children’s games
  • Antique and classic car show, and antique fire truck
  • Therapeutic massage from the College of Massage and Hydrotherapy

 

Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. Walk begins at 11:00. Pre-registration is preferred. Lunch is included with registration, free t-shirts for the first 300 registrants.

The Sunnyside Foundation raises funds to enhance the quality of life and well-being of the residents and community served by Sunnyside Seniors’ Services. The proceeds from Walk and Roll will support innovative initiatives for people with dementia.
