Shooting investigation in Beacon Hill, police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) – The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred today in the 1500 block of Marley Crescent where a man was severely injured. 

At approximately 12:15am, an altercation occurred on the street between two groups of people. When Frontline officers arrived on scene, they located several shell casings on the ground.

Shortly after the incident, a 23-year-old man was dropped-off at a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound.  It is believed he was involved in the shooting. The man has serious injuries, but they are not considered life-threatening.
