Service Changes for Remembrance Day (3)

Waterloo Region – Here is a list of Region of Waterloo service changes for Monday, November 11, 2013 in honour of Remembrance Day.

What’s open/not affected:

Grand River Transit will be operating on a regular schedule

Charles Street Terminal Open - Building hours: 7:15 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. Ticket sales 8:15 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Ainslie Street Terminal Open - Building hours: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Ticket sales 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (closed 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

GRT Customer ServiceOpen - 7:30 a.m.– 8:30 p.m.

Waterloo Region Museum is open Monday, Nov. 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Note: at 1:30 p.m. special TALKS Series presentation called An Army of Heroes? Considering Canada's Army Leadership in the Second World War – will be given by Dr. Geoffrey Hayes, Associate Professor of History at the University of Waterloo.

Region of Waterloo International Airportwill not be affected.

Waste, recycling, green bin and yard waste - Pick up as usual on Monday, November 11.

What’s Closed:

All Regional Administrative Offices (99 Regina – Waterloo, 150 Frederick – Kitchener, 150 Main – Cambridge, Airport Administrative offices) – Closed

Cambridge and Waterloo small vehicle transfer stations for residential waste drop-off - Closed

All Regional Libraries – Closed

Joseph Schneider Haus - Closed

McDougall Cottage – Closed

Regional Daycare centers and Home Child Care – Closed
