Service changes for Remembrance Day (2)

Waterloo Region – Here is a list of Region of Waterloo service changes for Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in honour of Remembrance Day.

What’s open/not affected:

Grand River Transit will be operating on a regular schedule

Charles Street TerminalOpen - building hours: 5:15 a.m. – 1 a.m. Ticket sales 6:15 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Ainslie Street Terminal – Open - building hours: 5:15 a.m. – 12:45 a.m. Ticket sales 6:50 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

GRT Customer Service – Open. Hours of operation 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. (Will not be affected.)

Waterloo Region Museum – Open regular hours

Joseph Schneider Haus – Open regular hours

McDougall Cottage Open regular hours

Region of Waterloo International Airport – Open - Will not be affected. 

Garbage, blue box, green bin and yard waste – Curbside collection as usual Wed., Nov. 11.

All Region of Waterloo Library locations - Open

Community Alzheimer Overnight Stay Program – Open

Sunnyside Wellness Centre – Open

Service First Call Centre (519-575-4400) – Open 

Employment Resource Centres (99 Regina – Waterloo, 150 Main – Cambridge, and 235 King – Kitchener) – Open

What’s Closed:

All Regional Administrative Offices (99 Regina – Waterloo, 150 Frederick – Kitchener, 150 Main – Cambridge, 235 King – Kitchener, Airport Administrative offices) – Closed 

Region of Waterloo children’s centres – Closed 

Community Alzheimer Day Program – Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge – Closed

Employment Resource Centres (99 Regina, 150 Main, and 235 King) – Closed

Cambridge and Waterloo small vehicle transfer stations for residential waste drop-off - Closed
