Sanitary flow monitoring and rain gauge program to start Apr. 28

Over the coming weeks, the City of Cambridge will begin a Sanitary Flow Monitoring and Rain Gauge Program at various manholes across the city. The work will be done by contractors and will require installing monitoring equipment at the manholes. Intermittent traffic interruptions are possible, both on roads and trails, while crews work on specific manholes.

As with other City construction projects, the health and well-being of residents and workers remains our top priority. We continue to work with contractors to ensure that appropriate measures are followed to protect workers and members of the public. If you see these crews out and about, please follow physical distancing practices and keep back from the work area.
