Reopening: Corbett Creek Water Pollution Control Plant waste disposal station

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising recreational vehicle (RV) owners and registered septage haulers that the waste disposal station at Corbett Creek Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) is reopening.

When: Reopening November 3.

Where: Waste disposal station at Corbett Creek WPCP, 2400 Forbes Street, Whitby.

Why: The temporary closure of the waste disposal station was in place to facilitate on-site activities associated with equipment upgrades. Equipment upgrades are now complete.

Note:

RV holding tank dump stations are available at the following locations:

  • Duffin Creek WPCP at 901 McKay Road, Pickering; open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
  • Corbett Creek WPCP, 2400 Forbes Street, Whitby; Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (excluding statutory holidays)
  • Courtice WPCP at 100 Osborne Road, Courtice; Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (excluding statutory holidays)
  • Port Darlington WPCP at 93 Port Darlington Road, Bowmanville; Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (excluding statutory holidays).
  • Uxbridge Brook WPCP at 127 Main Street North, Uxbridge; Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (excluding statutory holidays).

Registered septage haulers can visit the following locations:
