REMINDER: Plan ahead - Waterloo Air Show to create delays August 19, 20 and 21, 2011
Waterloo Region – Guests travelling through the Region of Waterloo International Airport on August 19, 20 or 21, 2011 are asked to allow additional time to get to the airport for their flight. Delays are expected due to high traffic volumes and the closure of Fountain Street North for the Waterloo Air Show, featuring the Canadian Snowbirds.
Road closure check points will be in place on Fountain Street North at:
• Menno Road / Township Road 80 when approaching the Airport from Breslau
• Kossuth Road when approaching the Airport from Cambridge
Please identify yourself as a “Passenger” at either road closure check point by showing your flight confirmation. This will grant you access to the main entrance road for the Region of Waterloo International Airport Terminal Building and onsite Airport Parking.
