Regional Service changes for Family Day (2)

Waterloo Region – Here’s a list of Region of Waterloo service changes for the Family Day holiday on Monday, February 21, 2021.

What’s open/not affected:

Grand River Transit (GRT) will operate on a holiday service schedule on February 21. Holiday service is noted on all route schedules. The Customer Service Centre at 105 King Street East in Kitchener and Ainslie Terminal in Cambridge will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Region of Waterloo International Airport 

Garbage, recycling, and green bin  – Curbside collection as usual on holiday Monday, February 21.  Please have items out by 7 a.m. Remember to place items at ground level, not on a snowbank.

The Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum and Schneider Haus National Historic Site will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday to Monday. Visit our websites for indoor and outdoor activity ideas for the whole family.

What’s closed:

All Regional Administrative Offices (99 Regina in Waterloo, 150 Frederick in Kitchener, 150 Main in Cambridge, Airport Administrative offices)

Cambridge and Waterloo Waste Management sites are closed for residential waste drop-off
