Region welcomes local business to second ION workshop

Waterloo Region – Small business owners along or near the ION rapid transit route are invited to the second of four free workshops hosted by the Region of Waterloo and the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre. 

“The Waterloo Region Small Business Centre is excited to provide the opportunity for small business owners to get ready for ION construction”, said Chris Farrell, Manager, Waterloo Region Small Business Centre. “This session will give small business owners the tools to strategically develop a marketing plan and an opportunity to collaborate with their peers on ideas or initiatives to attract customers.” 

Attendees will hear from the founder of Duke Carroll Consulting and author of the Marketing 101 Workbook, Coreen Duke-Carroll. Duke Carroll’s marketing expertise spans her 18 years of consulting experience in various business sectors, including corporate, small business, not-for-profit and government. 

What:  Small Business Workshop Series: Building a Successful Marketing Strategy

Attendees will explore how low-cost marketing strategies developed from the ground level can achieve various marketing and communications objectives.
