Region to hold live tweet chat to discuss draft Active Transportation Master Plan

Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo will be holding a live question and answer session on twitter on Oct. 21, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. all about Walk Cycle Waterloo Region – the Region’s draft Active Transportation Master Plan.

Walk Cycle Waterloo Region is a plan to help make it easier to walk, cycle and use other active modes to get around the region. The tweet chat will give the public an opportunity to ask questions and engage with one of the Region’s transportation planning engineers, Garrett Donaher, in advance of the Public Input Meeting with Council. The Public Input Meeting will take place Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Regional Council Chambers.
