Region’s COVID-19 dashboard to reduce frequency of reporting

Waterloo Region – Starting this week, the Waterloo Region COVID-19 Summary dashboard will be updated twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1:30 p.m. The case information will be current as of 11:59 p.m. the previous day. This is a reduction from the current reporting schedule of five days a week (Monday to Friday, except holidays).

The dashboard is available on the Region of Waterloo’s website: Waterloo Region COVID-19 Summary.

Due to the changes in the Ministry of Health updated guidance on testing and case, contact and outbreak management, case counts are an underestimate of the actual number of individuals with COVID-19 in Waterloo Region. As a result, the information does not provide a full picture of transmission and risk of infection in our community.
