Region of Waterloo resumes mailing out Ontario Works cheques

Waterloo Region –The Region of Waterloo has resumed mailing Ontario Works and other client and vendor cheques now that a potential postal outage has been avoided.

Last week, the Region put mail delivery on hold and made cheques available for pick up at Regional offices to ensure recipients were not impacted by a potential mail disruption.

Clients with inquiries about a cheque they are expecting to receive can contact their caseworker or call 519-575-4400 for assistance.
