Region of Waterloo presents ‘A Night at the Archives’

Waterloo Region – This free event features special guest Dr. Laura Millar who will present ‘From Grocery Stores to Google: Imagining the Future of Records and Archives.’

Laura Millar has worked as an independent records and archives consultant for 30 years, working with governments, universities, colleges, professional associations, non-profit organizations, and other agencies in Canada and internationally. She has taught for many years in the fields of records/archives management and editing, and she is the author of numerous publications and presentations on various topics related to records, archives, editing and education, including The Story Behind the Book: Preserving Authors’ and Publishers’ Archives (Vancouver: Canadian Centre for Studies in Publishing, 2009), and Archives: Principles and Practices (London: Facet Publishing, 2010).
