Region of Waterloo prepared for today’s snow storm
Waterloo Region – The expected heavy snowfall over the next couple of days could cause delays or cancellations to the Region of Waterloo’s services and programs. Stay safe and follow the Region’s social media for updates.
When will Regional roads get plowed?
Our crews are ready for the snowfall and will be out treating and plowing Regional roads outside of city limits during the storm. Once the snowfall ends, it may take an additional three to four hours to clean the snow off the roads. Municipal/residential roads and Regional roads within the three local city limits, will be plowed by the respective City crews. Municipal/residential roads within the four local townships will be plowed by the respective Township teams. Please give us one day before submitting a service request online for any areas that have not been plowed.
