Region of Waterloo Museums Pass now available at the Region of Waterloo Library
WATERLOO REGION – The Region of Waterloo Museums and the Region of Waterloo Library have partnered in a new initiative to increase access for all Library members to the Waterloo Region Museum/Doon Heritage Village and Joseph Schneider Haus.
A new museum pass can be borrowed from any of the 10 branches of the Region of Waterloo Library and is signed out the same way a book is borrowed. The pass offers regular admission for a family of up to two adults and dependent children for all Region of Waterloo Museums including Waterloo Region Museum/Doon Heritage Village and Joseph Schneider Haus. Note this pass is not required for McDougall Cottage as this location is free to visit.
“One of the Region of Waterloo’s strategic goals is to support culture and arts in the community. The Region of Waterloo Museums Library Pass program broadens the community’s access to the region’s cultural life by providing families with the opportunity to visit two of the area’s top cultural attractions,” said Lucille Bish, Director of Community Services for the Region of Waterloo.
Passes are now available at any Region of Waterloo Library branch and can be signed out using a valid library card. Passes may be borrowed for one week, and may have holds placed on them, and may not be renewed. Passes are not valid for ticketed events, workshops or school programs.
