Region of Waterloo Museums offer programming during one-day strike

WATERLOO REGION – Region of Waterloo Museums offers a variety of programming for children in the event of a one-day closure on Wednesday, December 4 of schools in the Waterloo Region District School Board.

Schneider Haus National Historic Site
466 Queen Street South, Kitchener, Ontario
Full Day Camp Program
Wednesday, December 4, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., $50 per child. Pre-registration required.
Ages 7 to 12. Parents drop off children for a full-day camp all about animals and wildlife. Children can try nature STEAM challenges and play survival games. To pre-register and for more information call 519-742-7752.

Winter Wednesday Activities                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Wednesday, December 4, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., General admission rates apply. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Ongoing crafts in the Museum and a scavenger hunt will take place in Doon Heritage Village. For more information call 519-748-1914.

Pop-up Craft Afternoon
Wednesday, December 4, 1 to 4 p.m., $3 plus per child, adults are no charge. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Drop in anytime from 1 to 4 p.m. for some fun games, crafts, hot chocolate and snacks. For more information call 519-624-8250.
