Region of Waterloo launches new Waste Whiz App

Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo is launching a new and improved local garbage and recycling app called the Region of Waterloo “Waste Whiz”. 

This new app includes access to the same features our residents know and love including reminders for garbage and bulky item collection and service alerts. 

In addition, the new app introduces these added benefits:

• customizable, Region of Waterloo-specific recycling and garbage instructions,
• on-line reporting of missed collection,
• printable, 12-month, customized calendar, and
• interactive, online game to test your recycling and green bin knowledge!

Download the new Region of Waterloo “Waste Whiz” or access the information online through the Region of Waterloo’s website at https://www.regionofwaterloo.ca/waste to get the most up-to-date information!

This app replaces the existing “My Waste/Recycle Coach” app and residents should uninstall/delete the old app immediately from their mobile device.
