Region of Waterloo approves agreement with UNIFOR Local 1106
Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo approved a Memorandum of Settlement with UNIFOR Local 1106 representing support staff at Sunnyside Home.
Highlights of the Agreement include:
- 36 month collective agreement from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018
- Minor adjustments to health benefits and premiums.
Wages:
- 1.50 per cent – January 1, 2016
- 1.50 per cent – January 1, 2017
- 1.75 per cent – January 1, 2018
Thhe negotiated contract settlement between the Region of Waterloo and Unifor Local 1106 will achieve the mutual goals of providing equitable and secure wages and working conditions, while maintaining and improving the quality and level of services.
