Region and UNIFOR Local 4304 reach tentative agreement

Waterloo Region –  Following negotiations this weekend, a tentative agreement has been reached between the Region of Waterloo and UNIFOR, Local 4304, representing Grand River Transit, busPLUS, MobilityPLUS operators, reservationists, fleet mechanics and service attendants.

As a next step, the union will meet with its members tomorrow to submit the tentative agreement for ratification. 

We appreciate that customers rely on transit, and we are committed to ensuring full bus service resumes as quickly as possible.
