Public consultations in Cambridge rescheduled for Stage 2 ION
Waterloo Region – As a result of on-going City of Cambridge labour negotiations, the Region of Waterloo has rescheduled two Stage 2 ION Public Consultation Centres (PCCs) in Cambridge.
The new dates and locations are as follows:
- Tuesday, February 28: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Kin Club of Cambridge, 1400 Hamilton Street, Cambridge
- Wednesday, March 1: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Newfoundland Club, 1500 Dunbar Road, Cambridge
The PCC in Kitchener will continue as previously scheduled:
- Thursday, February 23: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Lions Arena (Hall), 20 Rittenhouse Road, Kitchener.
The PCCs offer an opportunity for residents to provide feedback on the preliminary preferred route for Stage 2 ION.
A further round of PCCs is scheduled for late-2017. Following this, a preferred Stage 2 ION LRT route will be presented to Regional Council for their consideration.
