Outbreak declared at Operations Centre at Airport
Waterloo Region – Public Health has declared a COVID-19 workplace outbreak at the Region of Waterloo International Airport Operations Centre as two employees have tested positive for the virus. Contact tracing is ongoing. The employees last worked at the airport on November 18, 2021 and are currently isolating.
The Region can confirm that currently, there has been no exposure to members of the public, including airport passengers or crew.
