Oral Birth Control Alysena Recalled by Health Canada

Health Canada has issued a product recall for the birth control pill ALYSENA.

Alysena is the generic drug for Alesse and you may have received this from your pharmacy. Normally, Alysena-28 contains 3 weeks of pink active pills and one week of white placebo pills. The affected product may contain up to two rows of white placebo pills, which could put women at risk for unintended pregnancy.
