Ontario Works bank deposits delayed by technical issues will be received today

Waterloo Region – All Ontario Works bank deposits delayed by technical issues this morning will be deposited by the end of the day.

Most clients expecting deposits in their bank account this morning received the funds by noon today. Clients with an account that is not the Region’s corporate bank or a credit union should receive their funds this afternoon.

In very few cases, it’s possible that smaller banks will deposit the funds at midnight.  Clients can be assured that even if funds are not deposited until midnight, cheques issued for February 1 will go through.

Clients with inquiries about funds they are expecting to receive can contact their caseworker or call 519-575-4400 for assistance.
