Nomination Period for the 2022 Municipal Election Closed

Waterloo Region - The race is on in the Region of Waterloo! Candidate nominations for the 2022 Municipal Election closed at 2:00 p.m. on August 19^th, 2022.   On August 22^nd, the area Clerks reviewed and certified all nominations.

The cities and townships will be offering voters a range of voting options. Check your local municipal website to find what options are available to you.  Prior to election day on October 24^th, advance voting dates have been scheduled in your municipalities, visit www.wrvotes.com to find out more.
