No curbside waste collection on Tuesday, December 25 or Tuesday, January 1
Waterloo Region – For the two week period of December 24 to January 5, Tuesday to Friday curbside waste collection days will change.

The Region of Waterloo Waste Management sites (201 Savage Drive, Cambridge and 925 Erb Street West, Waterloo) will be closed for residential drop off on Tuesday, December 25, Wednesday, December 26, and Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
Christmas tree collection for composting is scheduled for December 31, 2018 to January 11, 2019. Tree collection will run all areas twice, once each week on your regular waste collection day. Please remove all decorations, tinsel, the stand and any plastic, and place the tree to the curb by 7 a.m. on your collection day. After the special two week tree collection, trees will be collected as a bulky item and handled as garbage (maximum three bulky items per collection for single family homes).
Double Garbage Days run for two garbage collection periods, beginning the week of December 24. During Double Garbage Days, residents can put out double the limit of untagged garbage bags or cans on their garbage collection day.
Residents are encouraged to check their 2018 Waste Calendar (includes a January 2019 page) for collection details, or our website at www.regionofwaterloo.ca/waste, or call our 24-hour Customer Service team at 519-575-4400. 2019 Waste Calendars will be delivered mid-January.
