Mobile vaccination buses bringing vaccines to community locations
Waterloo Region – For the third week, the Waterloo Region Vaccine Distribution Task Force is bringing COVID-19 vaccine to residents in the community. Two mobile buses will be on the road bringing vaccines to under-served priority neighbourhoods as well as several public locations to make it easier to get the vaccine.
Anyone who hasn’t received a first or second dose of the vaccine is encouraged to get it as soon as possible when the mobile vaccine bus is in their neighbourhood. The following locations have been included in the schedule to make it easier for the public to get vaccinated:
Wednesday, August 4
Conestoga Mall (near Winners)
3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
550 King St. N., Waterloo
Thursday, August 5
Elmira BIA Sidewalk Sale
2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
28 Arthur St. S., Elmira
Saturday, August 7
Fairview Mall (Bus Terminal)
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
2960 Kingsway Dr., Kitchener
Anyone who has a first dose of the vaccine is encouraged to get their second dose as soon as possible (28 days) for the best protection from COVID-19 and the Delta variant.
