Leaf collection options for fall

There are several great ways to manage leaves on your property this fall and many are beneficial to the environment.

You can bag your leaves for Region of Waterloo’s yard waste collection, which runs until November 25. You may also choose to leave the leaves on your property, compost or mulch them. These options help provide shelter in the winter for pollinators and enrich the soil on your property.

Alternatively, our leaf collection program will start in November. We ask that you check your collection date and rake your leaves to the roadside just ahead of this date to prevent leaves from blowing away.
