King Street grade separation work to begin June 8

Waterloo Region – Construction on the King Street grade separation, which is expected to last up to 18 months, will begin on June 8. This will require a full closure of King from Moore to Victoria.

During this work, GrandLinq’s major activities will include diverting the track, building retaining walls on the south side of King West, installing a trackway on a newly built bridge and building retaining walls on the north side of King West.

Advance signs alerting drivers, pedestrians and cyclists will remain in place throughout the closure. Detour and way-finding signage directing drivers, pedestrians and cyclists around the closure will be placed prior to work commencing.
