ION Light Rail Transit Public Art Project – Community Consultation
Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo’s next public art projects will offer an opportunity to develop unique and engaging spaces along the ION Light Rail Transit (LRT) route. The Region and selected artists will create seven new works of public art at the Conestoga, Research and Technology, Grand River Hospital, Kitchener Market, Mill, Block Line and Fairway ION stops.
The Region is asking for public input to make sure that each artwork considers the identity of its neighbourhood. We would like to hear your ideas on what makes great public art and your views on what is important and unique about each of the selected ION LRT public art locations.
The public is invited to provide input in person and/or online.
