ION Golden Ride Contest Win a ride on the very first ION train!

Waterloo Region –Waterloo Region residents are getting a chance to win a ride on the first ION train on Friday, June 21, 2019.

“It will be an historic day and winners can say they rode the very first train” says Peter Zinck, Director of Transit Services. “It’s really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

GRT will select three winners for the ION Golden Ride contest. Winners, along with one guest, will be invited to the ION opening day ceremony and will ride the first ION train from Fairway station.
The winners will also receive $500 in stored value to ride GRT!

To enter the contest, visit grt.ca and fill out an online ballot. You can also enter in person at either the Charles or Ainslie Street Terminal or at the reception desk at 99 Regina Street.

Contest closes June 7, 2019.
