How does Victoria Day holiday Monday affect services at the Region?

Waterloo Region – Here’s a list of Region of Waterloo service changes for Victoria Day holiday , Monday, May 21, 2012.

What’s open/not affected:

GRT Terminals hours of operation will not be affected.

GRT customer Service – Hours of operation 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. will not be affected.

 

Waterloo Region MuseumOpen (check website for times)

Joseph Schneider Haus -  Open (check website for times)

Region of Waterloo International Airportwill not be affected. 

Sunnyside Home Tuck Shop - Open 
Sunnyside  Home - Fabulous Finds Gift Shop – Open
Sunnyside Home’s Sandhills Café - Open 

Waste/recycling pick up will not be affected

Cambridge/Waterloo landfill sites and transfer station’s - Open

What’s Closed:

All Regional Administrative Offices (99 Regina – Waterloo, 150 Frederick – Kitchener, 150 Main – Cambridge, Airport Administrative offices) – Closed 

All Regional Libraries – Closed 

Regional Daycare centres and Home Child Care – Closed 

Sunnyside Home Administrative Office and Bank – Closed
Sunnyside Community Alzheimer Day Program - Closed
Sunnyside Wellness Centre - Closed
Sunnyside Reception - Closed

What’s running on a special schedule:

GRT buses are running on a Sunday schedule.
