How does Victoria Day affect services at the Region?

Waterloo Region – Here is a list of Region of Waterloo service changes for Victoria Day, Monday, May 20, 2013.

What’s open/not affected:

GRT bus routes will be operating on a Sunday service schedule. www.grt.ca  

GRT Terminals hours of operation will not be affected.
GRT customer service – Hours of operation 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. will not be affected.

 Waterloo Region Museum – Open regular admission and hours.

Region of Waterloo International Airport – will not be affected. 

Waste/recycling/green bin pick up will not be affected.

 McDougall Cottage – is open Noon to 5:00 p.m. on Victoria Day.
Stop by for tea and shortbread in honour of the old queen.

 What’s Closed:

Cambridge/Waterloo waste transfer stations residential drop-off – Closed

All Regional Administrative Offices (99 Regina – Waterloo, 150 Frederick – Kitchener, 150 Main – Cambridge, Airport Administrative, Sunnyside Administrative.) – Closed 

All Regional Libraries – Closed 

Joseph Schneider Haus - Closed

Sunnyside Wellness Centre - Closed

Regional Daycare centers and Home Child Care – Closed
