Waterloo Region – Here’s a list of Region of Waterloo service changes for the Family Day holiday - Monday, February 17, 2014.

What’s open/not affected:

Charles Street Terminal Open - building hours: 7:15 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. Ticket sales 8:15 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Ainslie Street Terminal Open - building hours: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Ticket sales 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (closed 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

GRT Customer ServiceOpen Monday, February 17, 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Waterloo Region Museum – Open Monday February 17, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Visit the new SHIPRECK! Pirates & Treasure exhibit and experience fun adventure for the whole family.

Region of Waterloo International AirportOpen - Will not be affected.

Waste, recycling, and green bin  Pick up as usual on holiday Monday, February 17.

Joseph Schneider Haus Open, Monday, February 17. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission
Join us on Family Day, for the Great Backyard Bird Count and make a treat to take home to your feathered friends. Attend a presentation by Kitchener children’s author and nature lover Frank Glew, author of "That Chickadee Feeling." Presentations are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Grand River Transit will be operating on a Sunday Schedule for Family Day - Monday, February 17.
Plan ahead and pick up a Holiday Family Pass at either the Charles or Ainslie transit terminals or at the Day Pass agents listed here: http://www.grt.ca/en/fares/Purchasing-Tickets.asp
