Waterloo Region – Here’s a list of Region of Waterloo service changes for the Family Day holiday - Monday, February 20, 2017.
What’s open/not affected:
Charles Street Terminal Open - building hours: 7:45 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. Ticket sales 8:15 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Ainslie Street Terminal Open - building hours: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Ticket sales 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (closed 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.)
GRT Customer Service – 519-585-7555 (available 24/7).
Waterloo Region Museum – Open Monday, February 20, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

McDougall Cottage – Open, Monday, February 20, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Family Day Activities
Join us for some family friendly games, crafts, treats and tours of the Cottage. Admission is by cash donation.
Region of Waterloo International Airport – Open - Will not be affected.
Waste, recycling, and green bin Curbside collection as usual on holiday Monday, February 20.
All waste sites closed for residential waste drop-off. Also closed are the Admin buildings for container pick up (green bin/blue box).

What’s running on a special schedule:
Grand River Transit will be operating on a Sunday Schedule for Family Day - Monday, February 20.
Plan ahead and pick up a Day Pass for the family at either the Charles or Ainslie transit terminals or check grt.ca for the list of fare agents who sell the Day Pass.

All Regional Administrative Offices (99 Regina – Waterloo, 150 Frederick – Kitchener, 150 Main – Cambridge, Airport Administrative offices) – Closed
Cambridge and Waterloo small vehicle transfer stations for residential waste drop-off - Closed
All Region of Waterloo Library locations– Closed
Regional Daycare centres and Home Child Care offices – Closed
Sunnyside Wellness Centre – Closed
Community Alzheimer Day Program – Kitchener, Cambridge & Waterloo – Closed
